Bali is one of the most photogenic destinations in the world. Arguably the island is the most Instagram-famous destination in the world.

Whether it be the temples of Ubud or the clifftops of Nusa Penida, there is a stunning photo to be taken in every corner of the island. With that in mind, tourists are always looking to find the next most unique location for those all-important holiday snaps.

Located in the heart of Tabanan Regency, just an hour from central Ubud, lies the most gorgeous garden complex.

The Blooms Garden is the perfect place to spend a relaxed vacation day sipping coffee, enjoying the stunning flowers, and getting creative with those Instagram photos.

The gardens only opened in mid-2019, and as a result of the pandemic, has been slow to be discovered by the tourism masses.

The garden span over a huge area of lawns and manicured flower beds, and there are plenty of lovingly crafted spots for photographs.

The whole garden complex covers an impressive 10 acres of carefully designed tropical gardens.

Manager of The Blooms Garden, Wayan Mustika, told reporters that the attraction is gaining popularity among international visitors after a period of being explored by predominantly domestic tourists.

There are guided tours of the gardens for anyone with a specific interest in learning more about the tropical garden, but it is not mandatory.

Guests are more than welcome to wander through the gardens at their own pace and in their own way, connecting with the landscape in a way that feels good to them.

Fruit picking at The Blooms Garden costs only the weight of the fruit picked, which is IDR 20,000 per kilo of guava and IDR 30,000 per kilo of strawberries. For rabbit petting, an IDR 10,000 fee is applied.

While a visit to The Bloom Garden is worthy of a full-day trip in its own right, for those looking for a more active day, a trip to the gardens is the perfect way to explore more of what Tabanan Regency has to offer.

Tabanan Regency’s most famous tourist destination is Tanah Lot Temple down on the south coast. But the regency spans far inland, all the way up to Bedugul.

There is plenty to explore in the Bedugul district of Tabanan Regency. The deeply significant Balinese Hindu Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is located just a 7-minute drive from The Blooms Garden.

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is one of the most famous temples in Bal and is too home to a stunning garden complex that overlooks the tranquil lake.

A visit to the temple costs just USD 5, and tourists must remember to dress appropriately before entering.
