Promotion For The Australian Market In Bali Has Begun As Travel Restrictions Begin To Lift

Bali officials have begun to promote Bali tourism for the Australian market as travel restrictions will be revoked in November 2021.

After recently announcing that the Australian authorities will start allowing their citizens to travel abroad including to Bali in November 2021 like The Bali Sun previously shared, Officials from the Badung Regional Tourism Promotion Agency, I Gusti Agung Rai Suryawijaya responded to this policy by starting to promote Bali tourism for potential Australian travelers.

“When the authorities from the Australian Embassy announced that they will revoke their travel restrictions by November 1st, 2021, several journalists from Australian media came to me and asked about the current situation, including our travel bubble program in Bali,” Suryawijaya said on Friday (22/10). He also appreciated the Aussie government’s decision to revoke this policy faster than their previous plan.

“They previously planned to reopen their border in 2022, but we’re so thankful that they did it in advance as Australia had been the biggest market for Bali tourism prior to the Covid-19 pandemic,” Suryawijaya added. In all his promotion about Bali tourism, Suryawijaya also ensures that Bali has been preparing with multiple procedures such as Covid-19 vaccine distribution and prevention protocols that create a better and safer environment for visitors before the border had recently reopened.

“We really hope that Australian visitors will start coming despite all of our entry requirements.” Suryawijaya concluded.
