New Paradise Flight To Bali With Etihad Starts In April 2024

In 2024, Indonesia is targeting to welcome 11.4 million international arrivals.

With the island proudly the country’s flagship destination, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is preparing to run an increasingly busy flight schedule over the next 12 months.

In April 2024 Bali Airport will welcome Etihad Airways to the runway for the very first time.

The flight service will operate at convenient times to allow for tourists to nip over to the Island of the Gods from the Middle East and be the perfect layover for long-haul travelers from Europe and North America.

The new non-stop flight service will run from Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is Etihad Airways’ home hub.

The first AUH-DPS flight will depart Abu Dhabi on the 23rd of April 2023. The route will operate four times weekly.

This is a landmark moment for Etihad Airways since the operator only flies to one destination in Indonesia, the capital Jakarta, at this time.

The airline has confirmed that the Abu Dhabi – Bali flight times inbound and outbound have been scheduled to complement the wider schedule that operates between Europe and North America.

The outbound service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The inbound service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Although it is not unlikely that flight frequency will increase. The Abu Dhabi to Jakarta flight with Etihad Airways currently runs twice daily.

The fight time between Abu Dhabi and Bali is around nine hours and outbound tourists will land on the Island of the Gods around 11.35 am, departing AUH at 11.25 pm.

The inbound flight is set to depart Denpasar at 6.45 pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11.45 pm.

Bali is a travel destination in high demand for tourists traveling from the United Arab Emirates right.

Travel data from the statistical analysis company Cirium shows that 100,000 people have traveled from or transited through the United Arab Emirates on their way to Bali this year.

The CEO of Etihad Airways, Antonoaldo Neves, told reporters “We are thrilled to announce our first ever flight to Bali.”

“This exciting development follows closely on the heels of our dynamic Summer 24 scheduled, reinforcing our dedication to expanding our network in tune with the needs of our customers so they can travel to their destination in comfort and style.”

One of the top draws to this flight service for long-haul travelers is the incredible stopover package.

The flight schedule allows for international jet setters traveling from Europe and North America to layover in Abu Dhabi, which includes a complimentary hotel stay at one of the UAE’s capital’s 3-start hotels for up to two nights.

This is the perfect amount of time to tick off the city’s most impressive attractions and landmarks before jetting onwards to the paradise island.

Tourists wanting to travel to Bali in true luxury will be spoilt by Etihad’s first-class service. Even those traveling in economy class are treated to one of the most comfortable flight experiences around.

The flights from Abu Dhabi to Bali will be served on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The plane is a two-class configuration, meaning there is a business class and economy cabin.

There are 262 available seats in each flight in economy and 28 business class seats.

Travel from the United Arab Emirates and India to Bali is soaring in demand right now. Vistara Airlines just last month launched the first-ever direct flight between India and Bali.

The service runs daily from New Delhi to Denpasar and travel experts suspect that more direct flights from India will appear on the schedule soon.

Tourists from the UAE and India are two of the ninety-seven countries whose passport holders can apply for a visa on arrival in Indonesia.

However, Indonesia’s Minister for Tourism and Creative Economies, Sandiaga Uno, suggested last week that the paid-for visa on arrival could be scrapped for travelers from twenty countries in the coming weeks.
