They hope this will attract more tourists to the area, as there is more than enough room for everyone!
The beach is safe and relaxed and is visited mostly by young local families and tourists seeking off-the-beaten-path adventures.
Speaking to reporters, local resident I Made Sumer explained that visitors can enjoy everything from snorkeling to beach swings, hire beach umbrellas and loungers, or enjoy beach swimming pools and massage therapy services on the beachfront.
There are plenty of local souvenir stalls and locally run restaurants serving up family-friendly culinary delights.
For those seeking a little shade, the beach is backed by the perfect picnic area dotted with coconut palms, intaran trees, and acacias.
Virgin Beach is really picture perfect; there are white sands that roll on as far as the eye can see and gentle lapping bright blue and super clear waters, whatever the weather.
Virgin Beach is enclosed in a wide bay, which means that visitors don’t get windswept and can totally relax in this secluded spot.
While busy on weekends and holidays, Virgin Beach is quite possible for tourists to enjoy pretty much to themselves, something that is almost unheard of in Badung Regency.
The beach got its English name after tourists discovered the virgin white and untouched sands of the shoreline. Locally, the beach is known as Pantai Perasi.

Virgin Beach sits a 2-hour drive from Kuta and Nusa Dua and around 1.5 hours from Ubud, traffic dependent.
The dive resort of Amed, famous for the shipwrecks and black sand beaches, can be reached in just under an hour.
Tourists eager to see a really authentic Balinese Village will love to take a wander around neighboring Bugbug Village.
The narrow alleyways, known locally as gangs, weave between the village homes, local shops, and temples.
