Bali hotels are offering special rates to welcome the international travelers who have started coming to the island.
The Head of Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association for Badung, I Gusti Agung Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya, confirmed that several 3 to 5-star hotels in Bali are offering special rates to welcome the international travelers who have started coming to the island.
“Many of our hotels in Bali are offering 50 percent discount to attract more visitors to the island,” Suryawijaya said on Friday (8/4) in Sanur.
Suryawijaya admitted that the hotel occupancy in Bali began to increase since the quarantine policy dropped and the visa on arrival program resumed.
“This is awesome! We are seeing more international visitors now and the hotel occupancy increased by 25 percent,” Suryawijaya added. He was also optimistic about the fact that Bali Airport is expected to receive more international flights this month.
10 international airlines have resumed their international routes with Bali, and Bali Airport is expected to receive 9 more airlines soon.
“We have been receiving 2,000 international visitors each day, and I’m optimistic that the number will keep increasing this month. This will help our tourism sector and economy recover by 2023,” Suryawijaya concluded.
