Officials from the Sanglah Public Hospital, located in Denpasar have confirmed that Covid-19 patients have been significantly reduced since the Covid-19 Vaccine began distribution.
The President Director of the Sanglah Public Hospital, Dr. Wayan Sudana said that Sanglah Public Hospital was one of the appointed hospitals to treat Covid-19 patients in Bali and they have confirmed that Covid-19 cases in Bali have significantly reduced. “We noticed that we’ve been receiving less Covid-19 patients since the vaccine started being distributed.” Dr. Sudana said on Friday (28/5).
He explained that most of the beds that were prepared to receive Covid-19 patients in Sanglah Hospital are unoccupied. “We previously had around 202 beds to receive Covid-19 patients here, but we decided to reduce the number of beds to only 164 as Covid cases keep decreasing.” Dr. Sudana added. From the total of 164 beds available, only 16 of them (9.7%) were occupied on Friday (28/5).
