Officials from the Bali provincial government have decided to provide two quarantine options for international travelers arriving in Bali.
Bali Vice Governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) confirmed that the government had provided international visitors with two quarantine options: regular quarantine and bubble quarantine at the select hotels in Bali.
He explained that the difference between the two is that under bubble quarantine, visitors will have access to public hotels facilities during their quarantine time.
“If they stay at the select bubble quarantine hotels, visitors are allowed to engage in outdoor activities such as exercising and swimming under strict prevention protocols. Meanwhile, visitors who stay in the non-bubble hotels are restricted to their bedrooms for the entire quarantine period,” Cok Ace said on Monday (21/2).
However, he admitted that these two options have different prices.
“The price between these two options is different, so it depends on each traveler’s budget. But they will certainly receive more services and experiences from the select hotels under bubble quarantine,” Cok Ace concluded.
He hasn’t announced the price range for these bubble quarantine hotels as each accommodation has a strategy to win visitors over their competitors. There are 65 select quarantine hotels across the island, and 27 of them are hotels with the bubble system.
