Colonel Mardika admitted that people are quite enthusiastic in joining the vaccination program. “Despite the implementation of the emergency partial lockdown from the 3rd to 20th of July 2021 to reduce Covid-19 transmissions in Bali, the vaccination program must continue so herd immunity can be achieved sooner to end this critical situation.” Colonel Mardika added. Mardika explained that the military officers will help the Bali provincial government in supporting 70% of their population with completing the vaccination program before reopening the border for tourism.
