The Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has finished distributing Covid-19 vaccine booster shots to Nusa Dua tourism workers.
As a state-owned enterprise developing tourism areas in Bali, the ITDC decided to distribute the Covid-19 vaccine booster to thousands of tourism workers in Nusa Dua. This was done in support of the government’s program to prevent Covid-19 clusters in tourism areas.
The Managing Director of The Nusa Dua, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, confirmed that the vaccine booster program was rolled out for three consecutive days.https://6e3b721fc3333bdfbb54f80aef1f4559.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html
“Following the recent vaccine booster program from the central government, we immediately distributed the vaccine to all the workers within our area, from February 7 to February 9,” Ardita said on Tuesday (8/2).
Ardita explained that this vaccination program was sponsored by different institutions, including the Badung Health Agency, the Bali Provincial Health Agency, and the Bali Tourism Board. They provided doses of the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines.
The number of participants in this booster program is lower than the number of participants in the vaccination program in 2021, as some workers have already taken the booster.
“From 8,671 workers in Nusa Dua, only 7,000 joined this program as many of them have already taken the booster dose,” Ardita concluded.
