1. InterContinental Bali Resort

When it comes to family holidays in Bali, InterContinental Bali Resort has really set the standard. This beachfront hotel in Jimbaran Bay has mastered the art of five-star living for families. And after staying here with the little ones, I can confidently say it ticks every box.

There’s also babysitting services on hand if you’re craving some solo spa time. Toddlers or teens, this resort makes family travel feel effortless.

The kids club: The newly upgraded Planet Trekkers is a fully supervised, air-conditioned adventure zone inspired by Bali’s natural landscapes. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the hands-on cultural activities – from Balinese dance classes to craft workshops. Outdoors, they spent hours splashing in the kids’ pool, bouncing on the trampoline, and climbing through obstacle courses. They even got to learn to surf with the Rip Curl School of Surf, which made for an epic holiday memory. Meanwhile, we got to recharge at the spa, and unwind with sunset cocktails by the ocean.
