Bali Airport authority has confirmed that Singapore Airlines will reopen direct flights between Bali and Singapore by the 4th of May this year.
According to the information from the Public Relation Manager of Singapore Airlines, Glory Henriette confirmed that this policy has nothing to do with the current international travel arrangement that is being prepared by the Indonesian government.
She noted that the service is targeted to both Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals with certain visas or limited stay permits.
In response to the policy, the Stakeholder Relation Manager of Angkasa Pura I Ltd of Ngurah Rai Airport, Taufan Yudhistira has been preparing before reopening the international terminal.
“In accordance to the government’s decree, we have already set up PCR test facilities inside the international terminal as one of the entry requirements from central government,” Yudhistira said on Monday (26/4).
Each visitor is also required to undergo a five-day quarantine in a hotel while awaiting the test result.
“Visitors are required to undergo a 5 days quarantine in a hotel that is appointed by Badung regional government and the Covid-19 Handling Task Force,” Yudhistira added.
Singapore Airlines will provide the air travel service between Bali and Singapore every two days a week such as Tuesday and Friday with the flight schedules are as follows :
- SQ944 on Tuesday (starts from May 4th, 2021) will depart from Singapore at 4:10 pm and will arrive in Denpasar at 6:50 pm
- SQ945 on Tuesday (starts from May 4th, 2021) will depart from Denpasar at 8:00 pm and will arrive in Singapore at 10:40 pm
- SQ938 on Friday (starts from May 7th, 2021) will depart from Singapore at 9:15 am and will arrive in Denpasar at 11:55 am
- SQ99 on Friday (starts from May 7th, 2021) will depart from Denpasar at 1:05 pm and will arrive in Singapore at 3:50 pm
